Father’s Pride

Father’s Pride has been my first attempt at wildlife using colored pencils. So far I have liked it and have been impressed with the Polychromos used on the piece. This was also my first attempt using the Arches Aquarelle paper. I really like the hot pressed for the smoothness while still having enough tooth to build up some layers in the colored pencils.
